As part of our planned continual growth of Read and Understoo for SharePoint, our most recent addition to the product family is a Microsoft Teams App.
The App provides users with the ability manage their Acknowledgement requests through the Microsoft Teams App. Notifications will continue to be sent to users via Email, however the user no longer has to rely on those emails to manage the reading and acknowledgement process. Instead, the App can be added directly into the Microsoft Teams App so users can view Acknowledgement requests.
The Read and Understood Teams app can be added in two ways:
Added to an existing Teams Channel that has the Read and Understood App installed within that’s Team site, or
Added to the Teams App in which case all Read and Understood acknowledgement requests are aggregated from all sites.

The Read and Understood App for Microsoft Teams not only collects the users acknowledgement as it does currently, but also displays the document they’re being asked to acknowledge reading.
