Acknowledge is a modern Microsoft 365 app that simplifies how employees manage acknowledgement requests. Instead of relying on email, Acknowledge provides a consolidated view of all your “Read and Understood” requests for SharePoint content—right inside the Microsoft 365 app you use most.

Available on Microsoft AppSource, Acknowledge integrates seamlessly with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online, giving employees the flexibility to manage acknowledgements in their preferred environment.

When added to Teams, Acknowledge delivers real-time activity notifications, including:

  • Important requests that need immediate attention

  • New requests for updated or newly published documents

  • Reminders for outstanding acknowledgements

  • Alerts for requests nearing their deadline

Built-in filters make it quick and easy to find the requests that matter most.

Pricing

Acknowledge works in conjunction with Read and Understood:

  • Paid subscription customers can use Acknowledge free of charge.

  • Trial users can also access Acknowledge for free during their evaluation period.

  • Free plan customers do not have access to the Acknowledge app.

Activities: Organise requests with simple filters:

  • Important – expiring soon

  • Urgent – issued immediately by authors

  • New – recently created requests

  • Reminder – requests with reminders sent

  • Any – all requests (default)

Teams Activity Announcements: When Acknowledge is added to Teams—either by users or via policy deployment—employees receive activity notifications similar to email alerts. Clicking a notification takes them directly to the Acknowledge app for quick action.

Appearence: We offer two different views of acknowledgements, grid - where the information is laid out in a table format, or card - a modern presentation that might be more suited to mobile devices.

Q&A

Does the App work with mobile devices, iOS/Android?

Yes. Assuming your using Microsoft apps for Outlook, Teams, SharePoint then the app will work.

Can I change the labels that appear on the App properties?

Yes. Within the Read and Understood app we’ve introduced a new Teams Tab to configure options on the ‘presentation - card or grid view’ and ‘Labels‘.
